1. For my final project, I will do a puppet show about three different Canadian fairy-tales. They will all play in a famous place, in three different parts of Canada. As in almost all fairy-tales, they will have morals and at least 2-5 characters. Since I cant play five people at once I will ask my host sister and mum to help me. First I will write the script, then make the puppets out of paper and finally I will record it at my home-stay. The competencies it will meet are

3. For my final project, I will be interviewing different people about topics that have been shared around our class, and that are often talked about in the class. I will interview my mom and one of my friends. I’ve chosen these people to interview since they’re two different people who view things differently, because of their age, gender, and cultural views. The topics that will be addressed in the interview will be, Whistle blowers, Don Cherry losing his job, and Social Media. After they answer the questions I ask them I will compare each of their answers analyze how their answers may have been biased or persuaded upon themselves. I am going to present the interview by a video, then I will write down what I found about the differences and similarities between the answers of both people. The competencies that this project meets are…
4. I’m going to create a perfect soccer training session which works on all aspects of my game. I’ll include technical work, fitness, strength, speed, finishing and more. I’ll make a video of me talking about the exercises and drills explaining what they work on and how many reps, sets, etc. I’ll also create a document listing all the exercises. I will compare a perfect soccer training session to Kai’s volleyball training session and list the similarities and differences. To help create this project, I’ll be reading different sports articles on different types of training and looking on Instagram pages that post soccer training ideas.
5. My project is about beauty and body positivist in commercials. It'll be structured as an actual magazine, the first part will include real Canadian commercials (pictures of average people, that do not follow any kind of beauty canon), while the second part will include Italian commercials (pictures of models with ideal bodies and way of dressing). Instead of articles there will be reflections and different points of view about the topic: What's more appealing to the costumer? Where do we draw the line when speaking of body positive? Does putting pictures of "normal" people make the costumer feel more comfortable? Why are commercials so different in these two countries?
